Closing Remarks

We all had a great time in Cotter. The people we met were enthusiastic about our program, extremely helpful, and excited about our plans and ideas for the City of Cotter. Your encouragement made it possible for the UACDC team to create a productive body of work to present the community.

Our office space had plenty of room, and all the tables, chairs, and equipment necessary for a productive summer program. The downtown location was convenient and highly visible. The housing was awesome. The space was intimate enough for group dinners and movies, yet spacious enough for a community potluck party, or for each student to find some person al space. It was the shortest home to work commute ever. The UACDC constantly preaches the merits of mixed use, commercial space at ground level with residential space above. It was a great experience to live and work in the same building, and hopefully set a precedent for future summer programs.

So many people made generous gifts to the UACDC. We appreciated all the invites to lunches and dinners with so many different organizations and individuals, all the food that was brought by our ofice, the fishing trips, the T-shirts, the plates, the parade, the parties thrown in our honor, and many other kind gestures. Thanks to all who offered great support and enthusiasm by sharing ideas at the UACDC Cotter office, or in community meetings.

The UACDC Cotter Team members would like to thank the City of Cotter for making our eight-week program fun and productive. Please keep us informed of any new developments occurring in the region. If you have any questions or need additional assistance please contact us.
